Fuses
Fuses are fundamental circuit protection devices designed to prevent damage to electrical circuits and connected equipment from overcurrent conditions such as overloads and short circuits. They consist of a conductive element enclosed in a protective casing, which melts or breaks when the current exceeds a predetermined rating, thereby interrupting the electrical flow and protecting the system. Fuses are available in a variety of types, including fast-acting, slow-blow, high-voltage, and specialty fuses, to meet different application requirements and electrical characteristics.
