The semiconductor market is facing substantial demand upsides for some of our products, driven mostly by the deployment of Data Centers dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, causing shortages on several power switches and ICs. In order to support the growing demand, Infineon needs to make significant additional investments to pull in fab capacity. Furthermore, we are facing relevant cost increases for raw material and infrastructure.

Infineon has always responded to the increasing cost of input factors with internal efficiency improvements. We are now at a point where we can no longer absorb these. Thus, we need to share this cost increase with our valued customers and partners. We have taken all possible actions to confine this price adjustment to the smallest possible amount for power switches and IC products, affected by the investment pull-ins and manufacturing cost increases.

We will start applying the new price on April 1, 2026. All new orders placed on or after this date, as well as any existing backlog shipping on or after April 1 will reflect the revised pricing. Be assured that Infineon will take any needed further proactive action to support your growth in a constrained market.
